New Page books has completed the final editing review of Synchronicity, and the front and back covers have been completed. The release date for the book is now 2-22-11, and it is already available for pre-order on Amazon. My hope is 40 people will review the book and leave positive comments on Amazon (hint, hint . Creating the book itself has had its own interesting history of SE (synchronistic events.). The first versions of the book developed out of my own need to explain, in a rational way, being barraged with daily, extreme SE for many years. It was kind of like suddenly finding yourself living in the Twilight Zone, and having to figure out the rules of a strange new alternate reality. Eventually, I became a psychologist and scientist to learn how to present SE in a grounded context, and wrote a dense, boring and virtually unreadable version of the book. Then, through a series of SE, I found a writing instructor who taught me to make the material accessible and fun for the reader. I rewrote it, and just for fun, imbedded in it a structure that re-programs the way the brain processes information in an attempt to jump-start the readers own SE abilities. To my amazement, this seems to have worked quite well. So far, everyone who has read the material has experienced a surge of SE around them related to the book. This began with my new writing coach, my writing classmates, and has spread to people that have been associated with the book’s publication thus far.

In a strange sense this book seems to have been blessed with a series of SE that have helped it into print. Most books, particularly by first time authors, take years to find agents willing to represent them and publishers willing to print them. Through a series of SE, Synchronicity, had a world-class agent within a week of the manuscripts completion, without a single query letter ever being sent. It found a publisher about a week later. Again, a fairly unheard of stroke of good fortune. Now the book is about to finally materialize out of its soup of SE into the physical world. I have been advised not to promote the book, but to promote the message the book was written to convey. My hope is the book, and this site, continue to embody SE, and bring them to the attention of the wider world.
